Hi everyone and Happy Mother's Day. I wanted to share with you a project I created using receipt paper. It has the perfect texture and weight to create backgrounds.
My son has a friend that lost her mother at a young age. He had the idea to give her a card on Mother's Day to hopefully make the day a little easier.
I didn't want to make it too sentimental, as I wanted this to be to bring back fond memories and not sad ones. I created the background using the stamp set from Stampers Anonymous called Faded Type. and some distress oxides. I then added some ephemera pieces as well as some remnant rubs.
The process was very easy and I was able to create a sheet of backgrounds in no time. It enabled me to also create some cute little ATC cards.
