I love re creating the past! So of course I had to share with you my Cabinet Cards I created on a Valentine's Day Card.
It started as a simple "play night". I was trying to come up with a new design for some Valentine Cards.
I was able to create this frame and use some of my stamps to decorate the outside. I loved the color shading I was able to get using a few distress inks, tea die, vintage photo and walnut stain. The images were from Tim Holtz' idea-ology collection called found relatives.
I continued to play, but was not completely satisfied with a plain backing on the card, so I created my own design using photoshop. You can get two panels for free over in the shop using coupon code FREEBIE. The set is also available for purchase, which will include six unique cabinet cards.
I came up with my final design using an oversized background stamp and my endearment sentiments. I was so pleased with the results of this card that I decided to create a process video. You can find it over on my YouTube channel.
